South Etobicoke Condos

The majority of the condos are located in an area on the lake called Humber bay Shores. There you will find modern high-rises located on prime lush green space on the shores of Lake Ontario. The park offers a natural extension of your home. Once outside you can enjoy a beautiful stroll along the lake, bike ride along the 56 km Martin Goodman trail, picnic on the beach, eat or shop and the Humber Bay Farmer’s Market even fish off the piers!

The neighbourhood also has everything at your doorstep from cafes, restaurants, doctors, salons and so much more. It is the ultimate playground for your furry animal and if you love boats you can watch the sailboats and even park your own vessel at the Mimico Cruising Club.

Two additional areas in Etobicoke that are growing with condo developments are Long Branch at the most western part of Toronto and the Mystic Pointe Neighbourhood just north of Humber Bay Shores.

Long branch has a few low rise condo buildings to consider as well as townhome projects that are popular for buyers looking for a freehold alternative without the need for a party room or gym. This neighbourhood is very popular for condo dwellers looking to make the jump up to the next phase of their lives and move to an area known for its laid back lifestyle, close to the lake, Long Branch GO Train but still have all the amenities within walking distance. The Minto townhomes are a perfect solution!

Mystic Pointe is one of the original pockets that forms part of Mimico Village sandwiched between Royal York Rd. and Park Lawn Rd. just south of the QEW and north of the Lake. Home to the popular Warehouse Lofts at 250 and 300 Manitoba Street which were the only buildings in this neighbourhood for a long period of time. It is now home to a few high rises surrounding the newly developed 12 acre Grand Avenue Park. Just a 10 minutes walk to Mimico GO Train station, its a perfect location for commuters that want to live in close proximity to the lake but in a lesser busier neighbourhood.

Moving to Mimico

Mimico is on the rise! One of the hottest and most desirable pockets in Etobicoke, Mimico features a very diverse range of home options from studio sized condos, converted lofts, family size lakeside apartments, starter bungalows to custom built 4 bedroom houses. Moving to New Toronto (aka Lakeshore Village)

Located just west of Mimico to Kipling Ave., New Toronto is a lakeside community offering everything at your doorstep. Here you will find war time bungalows, 100 year old craftsman style homes and custom new builds are on the rise. Tree lined streets, friendly neighbours and children playing is what you will find in this high demand area especially as you get closer to the lake. The most popular spots to live are south of Lake Shore blvd where its closer to the lake. Don’t rule out homes north of the lake shore as prices are starting to creep up due to the high demand!
